Just when it appears that the Jack Neo sex scandal is finally drawing to a close with PBM Jack Neo’s public apology on a shared blog with his good friend Foreign Minister George Yeo, another sensational revelation of his past sexual “exploits” had surfaced again.
In an interview with Chinese tabloid Shin Min Daily today, Singapore’s famous transsexual masseur and artiste Lai Meiqi claimed that she had provided “special service” to PBM Jack Neo during a massage session with her!

[Source: Shin Min Daily, 12 March 2010]
Ms Lai had a sex change operation in 1987 and worked in a massage salon along Orchard Road a year later.
According to Ms Lai, PBM Jack Neo first came to her salon at the end of 1988, a year after he got married to his present wife Irene Kng. Though he wasn’t as famous as now, he was already a household name among Singaporeans.
She was wearing a mini-skirt while massaging a naked PBM Jack Neo. When she pressed his “sensitive” spot, she popped the question if he wanted “special service” to which he accepted.
PBM Jack Neo then paid her an additional $50 to have “intimate contact” with her as well as to enjoy her “special service”.
“When I was servicing him, his two hands are auto-roaming all over my body,” Ms Lai said.
It seemed that PBM Jack Neo did not know then that Ms Lai was in fact a “he”.
The Jack Neo sex scandal had captured the attention for the entire nation for the last few days.
One of the few successful local movie directors, PBM Jack Neo was awarded a public service award in 2004 and a Cultural Medallion in 2005. He was known to be closely associated with the PAP.
PBM Jack Neo was reputed to be a close friend of Foreign Minister George Yeo who jumped to his defence immediately by calling on Singaporeans to “rally” around him after the scandal erupted last Saturday. He has yet to retract his statement of support.

PBM Jack Neo’s apology on shared blog with George Yeo: I am just “human” and can make mistake

After being flamed mercilessly by the Singapore media and netizens alike for his press conference yesterday marked by the dramatic fainting of his wife Irene Kng, PBM Jack Neo has apologized on blogkaki, the blog he shared with his close friend of more than 10 years Foreign Minister George Yeo.
![]()
Writing in Mandarin, PBM Jack Neo apologized to his family and friends and beg them to give him a second chance:
“I can’t reverse what I have done. I am just human and can make mistake. Although I have already admitted my fault, I beg you again to forgive me and give me a second chance,” he wrote.
Though he is a Christian, he said his public fall from grace was a “retribution”:
“There is a saying: You reap what you sow……..What Man does, Heaven sees. Do no think that Heaven will not see if you hide in a dark place and do bad things.”
He claimed that the scandal is a “painful awakening” for him and vowed to treasure his wife and stay “faithful” to her while being “very careful with his own behavior and how he treats women from now on”.
Arguably the most successful Singapore movie director to date, PBM Jack Neo was awarded a public service medal in 2004 and a Cultural Medallion in 2005.
The scandal erupted last Saturday when a former mistress Wendy Neo went to his place to confront him and alerting the media in the process.
It was subsequently revealed that Jack was involved in or tried to pursue at least 10 other women as well including a 16 year old girl of French descent.
Even before the sensational news reached the public, Jack called up George Yeo to inform him of the misfortune who immediately wrote an article on blogkaki calling on Singaporeans to “rally” around Jack.
George Yeo has since maintained a dignified silence after being slammed by netizens for his “inappropriate” support for Jack. As expected, the mainstream media dared not publish the story which will put the Foreign Minister in a bad light.
Another PAP MP Lim Biow Chuan was also flamed for saying that such scandals are “unavoidable” for successful men like Jack. He later claimed that he was “misquoted” by the press.
After screwing many girls and screwing his own life up in the process, PBM Jack Neo has at least contributed something to fellow Singaporeans by screwing up the political careers of two PAP MPs.

Cheating director called Singapore’s Tiger Woods

On Thursday, in a news conference reminiscent of Wood’s confession on live television last month, director Jack Neo, admitted to cheating on his wife, culminating a week of revelations about a two-year relationship Neo had with a 22-year-old model.
Other aspiring actresses and models, including a 16-year-old, have told local tabloids this week that Neo aggressively tried seducing them, including promising to make them stars in his movies.
“It’s all my fault,” Neo, 50, said before covering his face with his hands and crying. “Please give us a chance.”
Neo’s wife of 27 years, Irene, was by his side. She said she forgave her husband and would stay with him. She broke down after speaking and collapsed while walking away. She had to be carried from the stage amid a blaze of photographer’s flash lights.
“I’ve already been hurt,” she said through tears. “I really need your blessings.”
Neo gained fame as a comedian on Singapore television in the 1990s and later directed popular Chinese and English-language movies – such as Money No Enough and I Not Stupid – that celebrated the importance of family among other topics.
His latest, Being Human, opened in Singapore last week.
The government has recognised Neo with public service and cultural awards and he shares a blog with Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo, who wrote on Sunday that Singaporeans should “rally around Jack, his wife and his children”.
Others have been quick to distance themselves from Neo. Mitsubishi Electric Asia on Wednesday dropped Neo as a spokesman for the company’s StarMex air conditioners.
“It amounts to Singapore’s very own version of the Tiger Woods sex scandal,” said Chia Han Keong, a columnist at newspaper My Paper. “Just like Woods, his act of unfaithfulness to his wife has elicited far more reprehension than perhaps he would have expected.”
Woods ended three months of silence last month and confirmed he had extramaritial affairs, at a televised public statement not attended by his wife, Elin. The golf superstar lost a number of advertising sponsors and says he is taking leave from the sport while working to save his marriage.
Neo’s saga began Saturday when Wendy Chong, a model who had small roles in two Neo movies, told a Chinese-language tabloid she has been his girlfriend for two years and confronted Neo’s wife last week.
“Aw come on, that girl is young enough to be your daughter,” wrote blogger Victor Koo. “Jack seems to be playing Tiger Woods.”
Newspapers have published allegations of more affairs and quoted actresses who say they spurned his advances.
Maelle Meurzec, 21, said that after a small role in Neo’s 2004 movie I Do I Do, he bombarded her with text messages and told her to meet him at hotels.
She turned him down.
“This guy is supposedly promoting family values but he can’t even hold himself back from sending text messages to a 16-year-old,” Meurzec told the New Paper.

Foyce Le Xuan, who claimed she was relentlessly courted by Singapore famous movie director Jack Neo during her stint with his entertainment company told Lianhe Wanbao that she had forgiven him.
Jack Neo allegedly tried to bed Foyce several times by asking her to share “quiet” and “private” moments with her in a hotel room. When she rejected all his advances, she found herself gradually being dropped from acting assignments and projects.
“I have forgiven him and I hope he will turn over a new leaf. I also must apologize to Mrs Neo,” Foyce was quoted as saying.
Besides Foyce, Jack was reported to have “preyed” on 10 other woman including a 16 year old girl of French descent.
Though Jack Neo’s infidelity has attracted widespread criticisms and opprobrium from Singaporeans, Foreign Minister George Yeo jumped to his defence almost immediately by calling on Singaporeans to “rally” around him.
Jack Neo sex scandal: Wendy Chong may commit suicide, mother says

The mother of 22 year old model Wendy Chong who was involved in a 2 year affair with Singapore’s famous movie director Jack Neo had expressed her concerns that her daughter may commit suicide.
According to a Lianhe Wanbao report, Wendy’s mood was purportedly “very low” now and her mother had sent her to live with her relatives for a few days till the storm finally blows over.
Wendy shocked the entire nation when she leaked to the press that she had been a mistress of Jack Neo for 2 years including lurid details of her having sex with him in his car and various hotels.
“I hope the saga will end soon. Wendy’s father still need to work to support the family. We have a 80 year old mother to take care of,” Wendy’s mother was quoted as saying.
While many Singaporeans have lampooned Jack Neo for his infidelity, some also accused of Wendy of being a “willing” party and seeking instant fame.
Jack Neo has since apologized during a 3-minute conference this morning with clarifying on the current status of his relationship with Wendy.
SPH journalists felt “cheated” by PBM Jack Neo’s “insincere” press conference

Though PBM Jack Neo’s wife Irene Kng had begged the media to let her family off during a brief press conference this morning, SPH journalists from the two Chinese evening tabloids Shin Min Daily and Lianhe Wanbao continue to flame PBM Jack Neo for “wasting their time” by conducting an “insincere” press conference lasting only 3 minutes.
Prominent grassroots leader and movie director PBM Jack Neo was embroiled in a series of juicy sex scandals of late involving women from as young as 16 to as old as the mid 30s.
Soon after the eruption of the scandal, more and more women stepped forward claiming that they had been “sexually harrassed” by PBM Jack Neo whose close friend Foreign Minister George Yeo immediately issued a call for Singaporeans to rally around him.
At the much anticipated press conference held today 10am at the Scorpio East Holdings building belonging to PBM Jack Neo’s entertainment company, Jack and his wife spent only 3 minutes talking to media instead of the “tell all” as promised earlier.
PBM Jack Neo apologized while his wife said she has forgiven him. There was no Q&A session to answer questions from the public.
Lianhe Wanbao today criticized PBM Jack Neo’s press conference as “lacking sincerity and not resolving the problem.”
It questioned if Jack Neo is really sincere in his apology as he knew all along that his wife had been putting up with his extramarital affairs.
One journalist said:
“It lasted less than 5 minutes, this is not a press conference. He has one entire week to cool down and should clarify matters to the press and not just wriggle his way out and wasting everybody’s time. Since he wants everybody to give him a chance, he should show some sincerity first.”
Another added:
“He cried, she cried, then she fainted, he screamed….It’s all too dramatic!”
Straits Times journalist Dong Wei Wen also questioned if PBM Jack Neo was “acting”:
“I believe in Irene Kng’s tears. As for Jack’s, I am not too sure.”
Shin Min Daily quoted a “crisis management” expert Ms Yip as saying that the press conference was too brief and will leave more questions and doubts in the future.
She felt that Jack Neo should have come forth and clarify matters to the press as well as explain to the public what really happened.
Netizens remain divided about Jack Neo’s press conference too. While some felt that it is time to move on, others accused him of staging the entire fracas to win public sympathy.

Mayhem at Jack Neo’s press conference as Irene Kng fainted after scuffle broke out between members of J Team and journalists

The much anticipated “tell all” press conference by Singapore’s famous movie director PBM Jack Neo who was embroiled in a series of sex scandals lately might have been short, but it was no less dramatic as the sobbing couple was mobbed by journalists at the scene as they left the stage.
A few members of the J Team Productions, Jack’s entertainment group rushed forward to push the journalists aside and a minor scuffle broke out.
![]()
John Cheng (circled in red in the photo above) who used to play the role of gangsters and loansharks in Jack’s films was heard shouting at the top of his voice:
“GET AWAY!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! GET LOST, YOU #^@#@$*%!!!”
The journalists continue to ignore him and tried to ask the couple further questions and as Jack Neo waved them away, mayhem broke out:
“Please, please let us move, please…will you?” he pleaded.
A member was overheard saying:
“What do you want??? Can you please give them some space? You got nothing better to do is it?”
As our field reporter followed the crowd from behind, somebody was heard screaming:
“Madam has fainted!!! Madam has fainted!!! Please move away, all of you!!”
It appeared that Jack Neo’s wife Irene Kng had fainted and was carried away by the security personnel into the waiting vehicle.
The journalists continue to chase after them, refusing to let go.
We had a quick chat with one of the J Team members who said that many of them were angry with the mainstream media for “distorting” the story to increase its circulation at the expense of Jack and his wife.
He took issue with a Shin Min Daily report comparing the physical appearances of Irene Kng, Foyce Le Xuan and Wendy Chong a few days ago and the “lack of discretion” in reporting the lurid details of Jack’s sexual exploits.
“The media should have been more objective and not give so much free publicity to these girls who are just seeking instant fame,” he said.
The J team members left the scene soon afterwards as the journalists tried to interview them.
During the press conference, Jack Neo revealed that this would be the “last time” he is talking to the media. According to insider information, J Team Productions may be folded up and Jack is considering leaving the local entertainment scene for the time-being to wait for the storm to blow over.
The saga has gripped the attention of the entire nation as Jack Neo is a well-known comedian and public figure in Singapore. Arguably Singapore’s most successful movie director to date, he was awarded a PBM in 2004 and a Cultural Medallion in 2005.

Beleaguered Jack Neo, who was rocked by a series of sex scandals since last Saturday after his mistress alerted the media of his sexual exploits, finally broke his silence on the saga.
The press conference venue at 东方天蝎大楼 was already swarmed by reporters from both SPH and Mediacorp 10 minutes before it began.
As the media waited in anticipation, Jack Neo’s manager went on stage and reminded everybody present that this will be the one and only press conference given by Jack and here will be no further comments on this matter. There will also not be a Q&A session much to the disappointment of the crowd.
Jack and his wife arrived at 10.15am and was seen walking to the stage holding hands together.

Jack began by saying in mandarin:
“Dear friends of the media, thanks for your concern over the last few days. I would like to stress that all that had happened is solely the fault of mine, it is all my fault. I feel very fortunate today that my wife has forgiven me.”
Halfway through the press conference, Jack Neo broke down and cried.
“My wife has endured more pain than any woman in this world. I am very sorry for what has happened. This is my last time speaking to the media.”
Jack then passed the mike to his wife, who said:
“I do not know how to handle the media…..All I want to say is that I love Jack Neo, I treasure my marriage and my children. I have been hurt alot, please let us off. What I need most now is your support and encouragement. I need your blessings. Thank you,” she cried.
The press conference ended abruptly before it began. As Jack and his wife left the stage, the journalists rushed to surround them for further questions which caused a stir when members from Jack’s production team shouted at them to leave the couple alone.
Jack’s wife was reported to have fainted upon leaving the press conference.
A father of four, Jack is arguably Singapore’s most famous and successful movie director with a series of award-winning films such as “I not stupid” and “Run children!” under his belt.
The sex scandal has gripped the attention of the entire nation as Jack Neo is a familiar figure with many Singaporeans with his landmark “Comedy Night” in the 1990s.
He is also awarded a PBM in 2004 for his grassroots volunteer work and a Cultural Medallion in 2005. A PAP member himself, he is rumored to be close to Foreign Minister George Yeo who jumped almost immediately to his defence, calling on Singaporeans to rally around him.
While guys are more tolerant of his misadventures - a survey done by Lianhe Wanbao revealed that 75 percent of the men polled are willing to forgiving him, many women are disappointed and disgusted by hiss infidelity and vow to boycott his films from now onwards.
Jack has since apologized to his wife Irene Kng who has forgiven him. Speaking to Lianhe Wanbao yesterday, she said Jack is now like her “baby” whom she “sayangs” everyday.
