New citizens and their culture.

INDIA......"India's caste system : India has a hierarchical caste system in the society. Within Indian culture, whether in the north or the south, Hindu or Muslim, urban or village, virtually all things, people, and groups of people are ranked according to various essential qualities. If one is attuned to the theme of hierarchy in India, one can discern it everywhere. Although India is a political democracy, in daily life there is little advocacy of or adherence to notions of equality."

CHINA......."When the Cultural Revolution began in 1966 all forms of traditional culture, Chinese or Western, were suppressed, including to bring an end to the Four Olds. Temples and churches were vandalized by the Red Guards; Confucian morality was frowned upon; and a cult of personality surrounding Chairman Mao Zedong was promoted. "

These FT's and sinha are "FREE LOADERS"
If they are so good and competent, why indian companies "REJECT" them.

So they are here on cheap thrill, what qualifications ?
Last month we have LKY distinguish speaker on saying in india, there are degree mills aplenty. Why would someone distinguish on LKY policy studies say something like this and printed in straits times.

I once rented a room to chinese national doing masters on research at nus and he said whenever he goes for an interview, an indian national would fly in from india also for the same interview, and you should know who got the job.
This is in 1999.

I pointed this out in a comment I made to another story and want to share it here as well. I think this is really quite important and relevant to the case here. The Young PAP actually has a guy working for them, Mr Michael Rebaczonok-Padulo. He's worse than Mr Sinha because Mr Sinha doesn't have a direct role in the PAP. Mr Rebaczonok-Padulo has a column on the Young PAP website, is a new Singapore citizen after 30+ years in the country (never served NS), is a senior lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and even teaches Singapore politics to NP students. He supports PAP policies wholeheartedly and reaps all the benefits! He doesn't just support the PAP, he works for them! Here's his latest column. His words are primarily gibberish, but there are some interesting replies to his role as a new citizen commenting on Singapore foreign policy. I really hope Temasek Review looks into this guy's collaboration:

It is the job of every government to ensure that the citizens get the most benefit. In US and Europe, companies have to prove that they cannot get the person with the required skill locally before they are allowed to employ foreigners. But in here, PAP government uses the excuse of globalization to evade their duty and also to use foreigners to exploit Singaporean to maximize the GDP, which is then uses to pay themself exorbitant salary. Why should we let PAP do whatever they like ?

Good point Jolly. We must need a Minimum wage rate policy to prevent these kind of Cheap labour invading our country. Our nation is treated like a company. There is a old saying, Love yr job but not yr company.

Now there is a new motto for us. Love our country but not our government. We are free ppl and we have to make a statement.

The world will know in the next election, that free men stood against a tyrant that so few in the past did not dare to stood up against!!!!!!

Singapore for Singaporeans!!!! This is our nation. It is not a dumping ground for Cheap labour.

so we need to vote them out and everything will be back to normal. our pay may even move up with a minimum wage rate policy that is long overdue.

its only the bad policy of the pap that deprives its citizens of a higher pay. this is indeed a wicked thing to do and at the same time fattening their own pockets. i really look forward to that day when they are gone.

Thank you, citizenofSG for the show of patoritism and yr kind words. This is what i want to see. I work with fellow Singaporeans for the good of this nation. I have more friends from other races than in my own race cause this is my home. I am proud to see citizens step up and take sides with each other as Singaporean first. ppl like you are worth dying for in the battlefeild.

In my BMT, my best friend was this chinese "ah beng" kind of person who had chinese letters tattooed all over his body. But he helped me out many times and even now we are good friends, despite his shady background. regardless of what our backgrounds, i have seen in my BMT that when it comes to problems faced, us Singaporeans will help each other out.

Yes we should ignore Titty McTits cause he is someone who just prositute himself to gain any kind of advantage.

Even we as indians don't want the INDIAN nationals to come here cause they act like big Shots in our country. Even when i went to australia for a trip last month for 20 days, the aussies there are friendly to me when they found out that i am a singaporean. I asked them about the negative reports about the racsit abuse of indians in Australia to this cashier at a liqour store and he told me that these INDIAN nationals are very arrogant and act like big shots and so they get whacked.

The fact is they are cheap labour in singapore, but act like Big shots. If there are 2 hookers who look equally hot, but 1 of them charges more, which one will you go for??? But being cheap does not equal to good service. I serve my fellow singaporeans and i expected to be served by fellow singaporeans not some Indian guy from India or some PRC.

.These morons condamn Singapore, but yet want the Singaporean notes in their wallet.they take up our university places, our jobs, our houses, our space and even our peace without even earning it. The government wants to be elite uncaring bunch, with the Singaporeans working in the civil sector and the FRs working in the private sector. We have to make a change, get them out. Singapore for Singaporeans. All those who served NS and their famlies must come first.

At least to all those fellow bros whom we lost during peacetime training due to NS, let their souls rest in peace based that they given their lives to the nation for the good of fellow Singaporeans.

Fellow bros and sisters, I AM VERY PISSED OFF TO SEE THE FOLLOWING INDIA A$$HOLE ATTACKING OUR SINGAPOREAN on a networking platform. Just because she was fed up of these India Indians COMPLAINING they CANNOT LAND A JOB IN SINGAPORE!!

I am NOT making this up. The India snake is called Ghanshyam Nabar:

Old lady u need to take a chill pill.. I guess if u find responses disturbing kind switch off your pc and sit back writing speaking and yelling as mentioned on your profile... The ppl u been pointing out are the same lot who have to a large extend build your economy.. let me remind u the third / second language is tamil WHICH IS NOT SINGAPOREAN but an outside language... Get your facts clear and straight have added a latest article
[http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-02-23/singapore-withdraws-red-carpet-for-foreigners-with-eye-on-vote.html|leo://plh/http%3A*3*3www%2Ebusinessweek%2Ecom*3news*32010-02-23*3singapore-withdraws-red-carpet-for-foreigners-with-eye-on-vote%2Ehtml/lLXb?_t=tracking_disc ]

this clearly mentions the amount of jobs in the market are more than enuff for the locals out there and since there is a crunch of gud talent the reason why expats are bought in to singapore... Next time dont think of saying things which you said as you realise there are mouths to be feed every where not just in singapore.."

Another one:
