部长议员：李资政不断为我国增值 不应退休

教育部长兼国防部第二部长黄永宏医生昨天在新加坡国立大学协会对话会上，针对李光耀资政是否应该退休的提问作出回答时说，应不应该退下，关键在于李资政 (MM Lee) 现在是否仍然为新加坡增值。
黄永宏说：“李资政可以看到那些容易犯的错误，他告诉你要如何避免犯错。他推动一级方程式大奖赛，也推动综合娱乐城的设立。”
黄永宏说，到了最后，是人们自己通过投票决定。
除了推动F1赛车及推动赌场的设立，受访的议员说，李资政在很多方面，确实还在为新加坡增值，因此，不应该在这个时候退下。
马炎庆说，李资政是年轻议员的好榜样。
马炎庆和李资政同属丹戎巴葛集选区，有更多机会与资政一起出席社区活动。
他说，通过社区活动可以看出李资政深受居民的爱戴和欢迎。
“让我印象最深刻的是，有一次，一个选民在活动上跟资政握手后，对资政说，他愿意把自己的心脏给资政。”
义顺中议员王雅兴说，资政不应该退休，应该留下来，因为他能够为国家增值，为国人增值。
他指出，年轻议员可以通过李资政走过的路，找出自己的方向。
宏茂桥集选区议员李美花也说，李资政拥有许多宝贵知识，可以传授给部长和议员，不应该现在退下。
“资政很有远见，很关心新加坡的前途，会为国家做长远的打算。他会想到20年、30年后，世界不断改变，新加坡应该如何应对。他也不介意推行一些不受欢迎的政策，不会一味要讨好选民。”

Nothing new from the comments from the MPs. The same old PAPist dogma of invaluable experience, foresights, policies that steer Singapore on the right path (not for popularity) etc. But they all avoided the obvious, no mention of serious mistakes and the loss of Billions and accountability! What makes me sick is the totally unverified comment by a resident of Tanjong Pagar of willing to donate his/her heart to LKY! This sounds more like propaganda from Stalin’s Soviet, Mao’a China and Kim’s North Korea than a purported developed country! The PAPists never failed to amaze me how low they can sink in terms of pride and integrity! They really can break their backs for 5 measures of rice! (Wei wu dou mi zhe yao) But of course their 5 measures of rice is astronomical as compared to other politicians of the world. If Singaporeans still want to overwhelmingly vote for them in the coming GE, I can only comment that Singaporeans are sheeps and cattle of the Animal Farm we all call Singapore.
这个问题，其实不必再议论了。如果他要退休，早就在1990年退了。新加坡国立大学协会的会员表错情了–问错人了！！
希特勒留不留，要问联军；独裁者留不留，要问“上帝”。看来，新加坡的大学生还要多补政治课！
黄永宏说什么都是假的，选民要李资政留下来也是假的，上帝的”Posting Order”才是真的。
MM Lee should retire completely from politics because many MPs and ministers are having a crutch mentality and depend on a 86 year old man to provide advices, direction and spot pitfalls. If the ministers are really elite, they should be able to do the job well even without MM Lee. Otherwise, how can they justify their million dollar salary ?
