Singapore’s “Edison Chen” Gary Ng on why he films himself having sex with girls
Written by Our Correspondent
In a desperate bid to boost its flagging readership and to distract Singaporeans from important national issues, the state media has resorted to giving extensive publicity to an online sex predator using the moniker “Gary Ng” to attract readers to its site.
Gary Ng shot to infamy earlier this year by posting his sexual encounters with women online. His partners came from various backgrounds from professionals, students to beer-ladies.
He even claimed to have had sex with a mother and her daughter on two different occasions including his own niece.
In an interview with SPH’s RazorTV, Mr Ng (not his real name) said he did so as a form of “revenge” against women who betrayed him in past relationships:
“I had a few serious relationships which I’ve spent about 10 years on….One of the hardest blows came from this sex video that I happened to see through her ex-boyfriend which happened overseas. He sent me a link to a video in which my girlfriend was having sexual intercourse with another guy.”
Mr Ng admitted he was devastated by his past relationships which caused him to seek “solace” in endless partying and clubbing.
In less than a year, he claimed he had 50 sex partners – including polytechnic students, undergraduates and high-flying executives.
The women, he said, were attracted to him because he ‘grooms himself well’ and drives a ‘nice car’ – a Nissan GTR.
He started filming his sex trysts – taken mostly at home or at hotels – for his own viewing pleasure, and later decided to post them online due to “overwhelming” response from netizens.
Besides the interview with Gary Ng whose face was masked, the RazorTV clip also contains explict photos of women clad in revealing clothes, some with nothing more than a bra covering the top.
It is unsure if the state media is trying to promote promiscuity or to encourage Singaporeans to procreate with this latest gimmick.
If RazorTV is so desperate for news, it can try to interview YPAP member Sear Hock Rong on his spat with 3in1kopitiam forumers, MM Lee on his infamous remarks about Singaporeans being “less hard-driving and hard-striving” than PRC immigrants or Mark Chow on his grassroots work with Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC which will surely be a hit among netizens.
Unfortunately, the state media is more interested to divert public attention from national issues with such cheap thrills than to keep Singaporeans updated on the latest socio-political development in their country.

why is TR picking a fight with Razor TV? why not go ask FHM to convert to a political magazine as well?
In a desperate bid to boost its flagging readership and to drive up emotion of singaporean, Temasek Review has resorted to giving extensive publicity to any form of article as long as it attack any other media to attract readers to its site.
While I think there are other pressing issues in Singapore for sure, the fact that there are people like Gary Ng living here is awesome.
We need anomalies in life otherwise it’s so sterile and boring.
If it weren’t for this interview, I might not get a chance to look into his psyche.
Not important news by any means, but interesting definitely.
janetnt, you have still not proven your accusation that Alex Tan assaulted and outraged the modesty of his former CO’s wife. Why? Why don’t you go to his blog and pick a fight with him there? Because you know that you’ll be sued for your defamatory comments about him, isn’t it? So who are you to attack TR for pointing out a basic fact, that RazorTV wastes time on sleaze instead of issues of concern?
I feel that they have successfully gotten all the attention.
I feel so jealous that i am a married man who cannot have flings like gary.
how come he get girls so easily?
The last video at the bottom of this page

seems to me the so-called Gary with sunglass is speaking a foreign language?
Is that the same Gary who speaks singlish?
Its strange that sex contents can be found via links from that website that shows his interview?
I must say, i learnt a trick of 2 from Gary. Kudos! you the man!

You hit the nail right on the head there!
Pardon my limited layman view:
Janetnt, given your extensive knowledge and wisdom, if you are in charge, given limited space, which one will you publish:
- National Geographic Magazine related writing
- Gary Ng related writing
Well, if one select the latter, then I think it is quite clear which category he/she belongs to.
I have to agree on Janetnt on this one. Darth Vader, while everyone has their own opinions, it is foolish if you let your personal view points cloud your mind. This seems to have affected TR resulting in articles such as this?
RazorTV is FAR FAR FAR away from what anyone would call “state media”. Its focus is clearly on soft news and thus it would be stupid to expect them to publish hard news… Asking them to publish “socio-political development in their country” would be like asking TR to publish something positive the government has done without the usual side of sarcasm.
I think some people miss the point that Razor TV is a ENTERTAINMENT media.
Since TR stated that “It is unsure if the state media is trying to promote promiscuity or to encourage Singaporeans to procreate with this latest gimmick”. Then why did TR also publish articles relating to Gary in its own website early this year.

TR needs to do its fact-checking better. This wannabe casanova has been proven to be bluffing, in the sammyboy forums. The videos he posted are taken from other porn productions. He is just making up his own story and pretending that he is involved it all these sexual acts.
Razor TV might be ENTERTAINMENT media but where was it presented? Is it in isolation or in a sub-section of MSM including mostly socio-economic news? IT IS THE DELIVERY PLATFORM AND AUDIENCE REACH THAT MATTERS.
If it is in isolation with its own web-page and NOT ELSEWHERE as part of feature item, then one might argue that TR might be over-extending.
But if it just an adjunct to a platform consisting mainly of other socio-economic news, then racy sleaze on Razor TV isn’t really welcome.
ANYONE WITH A HOBBY FOR RACY STUFF, JUST GO VISITING GEYLANG STREETS EVERY NIGHT – WHO IS STOPPING YOU??? I think the rest of us are not extremely impressed with sleaze – not the explicit Edison Chen’s stuffs or clones which people would now rather forget
Just hope that during the election period, MSM don’t highlight all those Geylang sleaze, voters would NOT want of distraction.
surely we got better things to talk about than one guy and some 50 other women.
the logo on RazorTv website is like this :
The Straits Times.
RazorTV
SPH a singapore press holdings website
Simple fact: sex sells, look to your right:the most read articles, common theme:sex
if SPH knows that, surely TR knows that too. if there is demand, there is supply. Of course ,TR can refuse to print this article but in order to attract readers who are not interested in political matters, this may be one way but of course they can’t do it regularly, else this site’s main theme will be lost.
This is clever smoke bomb by the State Media.
I also kena curious and click on their link.
Nothing to see there one la.
So i stand corrected, TR is picking a fight with ST’s entertainment section.
I am sure TR can make better use of the space and resources to write other better article or do more investigative journalism.
Give TR’s choice, attack Razor TV or publish an article on the building of a new ERP gantry on a road undergoing construction.
We all know TR’s choice?
and where is TR going to file the sue? in china? zzzz
you can defend blindly if you like. end of the day no one judge you
