@deoxin – why are u associating Alex with Dr. Chee. They both are not related. You try to draw parallel to make people hate Alex, you are barking at the wrong tree.
I suggest that you go to YPAP facebook and speak your peace.
Even Dr. Chee is a hero here, you are helping Alex to level up to Dr. Chee.

I won’t stop you, because I know it’s useless. Sear has to grow up… Getting agitated with irrationalism is irrational on itself.

I know too well about the internet environment. Hahahahahahaha… Even Mdm Ho Ching laughed it off the other round, reportedly so.

I have the camp thing to deal with. I am now told a new ‘favorable’ arrangement to which is too good to be true. Hahahahahahaha… Playing safe, I emailed them how the said arrangement and is waiting for the confirmation reply.

I am hoping that Ser Luck will intervene soon. There is nothing wrong with a DB record or a yellow ribbon, it shouldn’t be brought into the picture in the first place. Mr Tharman did something systematically wrong, but he was promoted to minister for whatever relevant merits. And people should have some restrain. 适可而止，见好就收。

haloooooo….five days detention during NS…..that’s is part of the growing up for any youngsters. No bid deal !!!!

Very importantly is that the person coming out with this confidential information without Mindef approval should be jailed. Anyway this topic has nothing to do with confidential report from Mindef, where the hell did that person obtain the information from ???

if he were a foreign talent, he would not have been to DB.
all i feel is a sense of pity, and i understand the anger and hatred people like alex tan feel.
and people like him will support the opposition as long as he lives.

the question is: will the many local singaporeans who were made to do NS not enrolled in our local universities do the same?

these guys are just into their mid, late twenties and early thirties who have experienced the china influx.

only time will tell.

imho,
alex tan was not in the YPAP network for debate and discussion. he was there to create havoc, n to be banned ..so that he can claim that YPAP ’shunned’ him n his view.

this is not a new game; this game has been played over n over again by non other than the disobedience-grandMaster Chee SJ.
chee would intentionally do things outside the law, he’ll then fined, n then he refused to pay fine, as a result he’ll go to jail. all these r played ..so he can claimed that he is jailed for expressing his view. but get this straight, he is FINED. he’s jalied for refusing to pay the fine.
n of coz, as the game played on, he’ll frequently talk about his jail term in the same breath as he mention Aung SSK, M Gandhi, etc. well, some people believes him n think of him as democracy hero.
frankly, i expect nothing less from a PhD holder in Psychology ..in terms of ability to bend facts n influence people.
HOWEVER, it is what it is: disobedience.

now, all of u who said that Alex Tan’s DB record was secret and whoever put it in public must be punished, DO YOU STILL STAND BY YOUR VIEW ?
