第四代领导人

我读报得悉总理正在寻找带领新加坡走向未来的第四代领导团队而感到失望。新加坡人肯定地对这件事应该拥有发言权吧？

我认为最好让团队在现实情况下诚实地面对试验，并且争取人民的接纳，而不是由当前的领导人去钦点。

许多民主国家 (democracies) 所采用的继任系统能够提供更好的领导人供人民选择，并且使领导人与人民之间取得更好的联系。

另外谈一下一个正面的话题吧。我对总理提及他正在处理因高价的HDB单位和高昂的本地生活费所引起的人民忧虑而感到鼓舞。我希望这将导致某些与我们这两项重要生活环节有所相关的政策得以改善。

我們無需对总理正在处理因高价的HDB单位和高昂的本地生活费而感到鼓舞，因為這只是長期政策與民生脫節或大選前所做的補償動作罢了。
至於第四代领导人當然是由当前的领导人去钦点，這樣他們才知道誰是主子，誰是奴才！

钦点固然不怎么样，但民选也不能保证选个好的。看看台湾的陈水扁就知道了，选了个超级大贪官，白白耽误台湾经济发展8年。美国人大费周章选出的奥巴马也不怎么样，上任以来成绩平庸。
总之，这事难啊！
