aiyo!! someone should send this clip to LTK n his friends from WP!! ..so they understand what they r talking about when they proposed to throw away “Racial Integration Policy” of HDB housing.

well imposing quotas or removing quotas are not going to stop racial segregation.
when you impose quotas, minorities feel isolated ( 1 indian family and 1 malay family in a block full of chinese) and they naturally will tend to isolate themselves further and mix with their ethnic groups in other areas. this is true for singapore
when you have no quotas, you get the natural racial segregation.
so quota is an useless mechanism. what is required is promotion of tolerance and integration through unity and understanding. there are a million things to do to achieve this.
