Oh Crap, why so much controversies?

At first it’s all the confusing stuff revolving around David’s death with the Media giving out several wrong information, and now, Zhou?

Errrrrrgggg.
Why did NTU had to delete their records so quick/soon/hurriedly anyway, ‘ts not like they don’t have any space at ALL left.

Without any concrete evidences that Widjaja actually stabbed the professor and committd suicide, following the assumption that Zhou committed suicide, there is a possibility that there is a mystery behind these two lightnings in the same week. Why don’t public see that someone(s) is trying to cover up a lot of things?

Hi there,

Going strictly by DSM IV, it will be one month. I brought up the possibility of PTSD to provide a scientific explanation for the 2nd suicide and more importantly to highlight a nascent problem which I hope NTU is aware of. Some students will develop PTSD later on and they have to follow them up for a few months. PTSD can be averted promptly by quick and effective counseling on the spot. Of course if you go by the books, an more appropriate term will be “acute stress disorder”. Zhou Zheng’s suicide may be triggered off by Widjaja since he was noted to be praying and burning incense papers at his doorsteps for the entire week.

Just fyi, to be diagnosed with PTSD, the symptoms must have lasted for more than a month. So even if he does have PTSD, I do not think it resulted from Widjaja’s death…

Hi Anon,

Zhou Zheng was only one year the senior of David Widjaja in the same Division of EEE. This is only my postulation and they may not know each other at all.

However, it does appear that Zhou was quite traumatized by David’s suicide according to Wanbao.

His suicide may be caused by PTSD which is the only logical reason. There are some rumors going around in the neighborhood kopitiams that the “spirit” of Widjaja “bring Zhou along” to keep him accompany.

I thought Zhou Zheng was employed or started work only the day david died? So how could they know each other or even have been close?

just a correction in ur article
“An Info Comm Project Officer is in charge of the IT and technical matters of the laboratory”

Project officer don’t incharge of IT stuff, only lab tech do.
usually he/she involve in research project.
